谷歌拟4月3日关闭Gizmo5网络电话 转向Gmail/Gtalk

       据国外媒体报道，Google当地时间周五开始通知用户，该公司将于4月3日关闭VoIP(网络电话)服务Gizmo5。

　　Google去年11月份收购了Gizmo5，据悉收购价格约为3000万美元。收购Gizmo5后，Google已经将Gizmo5的技术整合到Gmail/Gtalk中。从去年8月份起，用户已经可以直接从Gmail邮箱中拨打电话。

　　Google在发送给用户的电子邮件中称，“我们将从2011年4月3日起不再提供Gizmo5服务。自2011年3月11日起，用户将不再能给帐户充值。如果帐户中还有余额，用户可以登录 http://lxvoip.gizmo5.com，要求退款。美国用户也可以将余额转到Google Voice帐户中，通过Google Voice或Gmail拨打电话。用户需要在4月3日前转帐户余额或申请退款。”

Gizmo5 is writing to let you know that we will no longer be providing service starting on April 3, 2011. A week from today, March 11, 2011, you will no longer be able to add credit to your account.

Although the standalone Gizmo5 client will no longer be available, we have since launched the ability to call phones from within Gmail at even more affordable rates.
